I just love Citibank. I started banking with Citibank in 2001 when I first started working and I opened my suvidha salary account with them. Since then they have not stopped amazing me with new products and features they keep coming up with.
They were pioneers in Internet Banking, mouse pad based security, investment accounts linked to suvidha, ready credit and the list goes on. And yes the best one free drafts to any location in India. Can you beat that. And now EFT and RTGS. They were among first to introduce these. What about world money card. So convenient.
I never had any issues with them in terms of delay in customer service. Only nuisance has been long queues at ATMs in the first week of month but that is expected with our country's growing population. And yes at times wait on phone lines have been frustrating, waiting for your call to get connected to someone at Customer centre but then I realized I can mail them using internet banking and though it takes a little longer to resolve the issue but it does gets addressed.
I simply love this bank. I guess other banks like ABN Amro are also catching up in retail banking but I absolutely love these guys and yes did I mention that they have the best internet banking site in terms of usability and content.
