I JUST CAME TO KNOW THAT ALL MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE ARE SUFFERED LIKE ME.FOR A MERE 10000 TO 20000 LOAN. THEY ARE PAYING MORE THAN HALF OF THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT.
one of the worst experience in my life is taking a consumer loan in citifinancial chennai-Ambattur. the rate of interest is 1.9% a month. for a year it's 22.8%. Every point they take advantage of us for 21000 loan they put 30 months tenure. so I have to pay 33000 for a loan amount of 21000.(57%interest)
I have paid already (15months)16500 and I am about to close my loan.The total interest for 15 months is 1.9 * 15=28.5%.So 28%+principal amount(21000)=26985.since I have paid already 16500. 26985-16500=10485 should be my closure amount.but citifinancial staffs asking me to pay 14500. already I suffered with huge interest amount but they behave like inhuman. THOUGH I HAVE ALREADY TOLD THEM ABOUT MY LOAN CLOSURE. Rude collection agents coming to my home when I am out to work threatening my family members(WHAT I AM SAYING IS REAL TRUTH).
THIS IS PURELY A PUBLIC AWARENESS ESPECIALLY TO THE MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY.
