I searched high and low for reviews on the Blue Star split AC but could not find any. Nor did I find any complaints against it. Must be a good AC, I thought.
After two disappointing months of a perspiring summer, I beg to differ. Since we bought the machine in April, its perofrmance has been disappointing. The room re mains uncooled though they claim in their ads that they are the experts on cooling. Their engineers visited us three times in two months before they decided that the AC was defective.
Though they have agreed to replace the machine, their customer scare unit is taking its own sweet time. They rarely respond to calls, they promise to call you but they don't and the dealers don't visit when they promise.
You know that sinking feeling you have at a restaurant when you wish you had ordered what your neighbouring table's eating. It has been the same with us. We have seen many branded ACs work much better than Bluestar; we have heard reports of other cheaper brands cooling the room better. We have been asked by so many people why we choose Bluestar and not a cheaper brand, say Onida.
We don't know.
