I noticed that you were keen to know about the various Internet service Providers. Let me help you by saying that at present I would rate NOW as one of the best service providers in terms of speeds and ease of connectivity.
Their rates are very competitive as also their helpdesk, which is not only responsive but also has a toll free number 1600-112-112. This can be very useful if you have to spend some time on the phone trying to get some settings configured for optimal use of Internet facilities.
I would rate Satyam also very highly because they are not only the oldest, but also one of the most experienced in this field and incidentally they are the largest providers after VSNL about which the less said the better. But Satyam also are the most expensive at present, well they do have a right to charge since they are quite aware of their quality and expertise for which they are justified to charge a premium.
The third company that I would recommend is TATANOVA based on their brand value and the fact that being practically new in the market they have very few customers and minimum load on their infrastructure thus giving us customers very good speeds and service. This has prompted me to use their services and I must say that they are definitely satisfactory and better than most if not the best.
