I bought Spark PS model in January08. Till now the car has done 800 kms. I like its overall performance, though I've haven't taken it on the highways. The engine is silent and AC is powerful. It gives a feeling of a mid segment car indeed. I drive the car in Chennai and in this horrible traffic, I am getting only 11.5 - 12 kmpl with AC on. This is because the traffic in some areas moves exactly 1 inch at a time. So I have to run it in 1st gear plus clutch for about 30 minutes daily!
Can anyone share their experiences with the mileage of Spark in city with AC on? I want to know if I can ask the dealer/servicer to tune up the engine for more mileage. Also, any idea if we can fit LPG/CNG kit on Spark? Heard that Alto runs very smoothly on LPG. I was wondering if I could run Spark on LPG after a year or so. Also please throw some light on the cons of running the car on auto LPG. Any valid commets are most welcome.
