I am from Madras but... Review on Chennai

I am from Madras myself and while I do like the place in some of its aspects, I have to say there are many places which are better than Madras. Madras is not a nice place due to the following reasons:

• Madras has this horrible smell throughout the city. I just cannot take it at all.

• People urinate right on the roads infront of everyone (I guess it does happen in other cities as well)

• the Koovam is the worst. It is a breeding ground for all kinds of diseases.

• The auto guys are there to fool you all the time. They say any rate that comes to their minds. Sometimes, they intentionally break the meters, so as to not use them.

• The Marina Beach used to be really good. But thats not the case anymore with people throwing garbage, defecating, urinating everywhere on the beach. Seriously, the beach stinks now.

• The weather is just BAD in Madras. Its always hot, hotter or hottest.

• There is no water in Madras. You get BROWN water from the taps.

• I have heard really bad things about the Madras police and their human rights infringements.

• Tamil Cinema rules the state of Tamil Nadu. Every politician is/was an actor. It seems that the people get fooled by the actors' roles in films. The movie industry has very strong ties with politics even now.
