I was in chennai for more than an year, and I believe I have a fair idea about it.the moment I hear chennai can you imagine what comes to my mind? slums everywhere, narrow roads, uncivilized and arrogant auto drivers, cheaters in all unimaginable forms and shapes, their mindset that doesn't accept outsiders and always look at outsiders with suspicion their hatred to hindi or fanaticism towards tamil and their culture, their poor dress sense, heavily crowded buses. apart from this I also come across tasty food, maga shopping malls, god amount of greenery on the positive side.i was told that chennai has changed a lot, exactly when I was feeling suffocated in that city.i felt happy that I hadn't stayed there before it started changing.
