Lifestyle of the city

Chennai is the 4th metropolitan city of India. Neat & Clean city. This is the ?Gateway? to the South India for the travelers. Main inhabitants are Tamil. English is the help line for the non Tamil people. Hindi is not very popular here. Vegetable foods are main foods . I am a very much non-vegetarian, so I did face some problems there. But Non Veg foods are available here and the hotels of non Veg foods are known as ?Military Hotels?. Idli and Dosa lovers would be happy to be here.

I faced some difficulties there but later I started to like south Indian dishes. The dresses of Tamil Brahmins are quite unique. Temples are known here as Gopuram, communal riot is far thing here in Chennai. T.V stars & politicians get the highest importance here in the lottery shops and hoardings. Big cut outs of the politicians are everywhere in the roads. Chennai is quite a bright, interesting, cool city.

Visiting Places

? Marina Beach is the one of the longest beach(13 km) of world. Nice place. Sea lovers enjoy it very much. The sea beach is totally beautiful.

? If you start to visit the city from Paris corner, then at first you get the Chennai High court. This is a very interesting building. Lighthouse, fort cent George, Cent Marine Church etc places.

? Beside these you will like Annasquare, Parthasarathi Temple, Kapaliswar Temple, Dear & Snake park etc. places.

? Don?t forget to visit Government museum and gallery.

Kanjibharam sarees and varieties of interesting. Handcrafts.

Above all Chennai is quite a bit different & interesting metropolitan city.
