As a frequent traveller between Bangalore and Chennai by these trains, I have noticed the following.
Right from Cantonment, passengers with no reservation accommadation entrain reserved accommadation.**They block doorways, aisles, toilet entrances.The same is the case from Arakkonam, from Chennai side.
*You will also find that the passengers with no reservations, requesting you adjust(?) so that they may be seated.
When you ask for suggestion book, TTE blinks.Your complaints evoke no response.
*Not only that, you will find vendors swarming the compartments irritating you.This practice becomes a deluge from Jolarpet.
*You would find beggars pestering you.
Toilets are messy and uncleaned.Taps are with out water.
Even compartments are given a cursory sweep.
Railway authorities may do something about this.
Now I have switched over to AC chair car.**Probably this is the way to market AC compartments**.
*Any assistance from the TTE is out of the question.They spend time in the Pantry car smoking and drinking beer.
