Chef is a film which is a remake of english film chef, directed by john favreuo. Roshan kalra( saif ali khan) is a well known chef working in a restaurant of new york. He is a divorcee, his ex- wife radha( padmapriya) lives with their son armaan in kochi. One day roshan beats a man for criticising his cooking, he got fired from his job. He comes to kochi to spend some time with his son. He got to know that his wife is going to marry her friend biju ( milind soman) . Biju suggested him to open a mobile restaurant, but roshan's heart is in delhi where he live in his childhood with his father. Does he go to delhi? Or he comeback to kochi?
The screenplay is very slow, dialogues are okay but film looks like a boring show, music is also bad.
