Short and sweet - most of the cartoons now shown on this network aren't appropriate for young viewers, many simply because they are so annoying and model extremely rude and obnoxious behavior that kids quickly copy.
Also there may be adult themes that emerge (i.e. a gay friend or roommate on one show??) that we don't want our kids to see as part of acceptable entertainment.
Some of the old vintage cartoons like Scooby Doo are okay (just silly) but the newer fare of the past few years is totally worthless and much of it is toxic - no matter how much kids might like it. If my child wanted to drink a toxic poison I would not permit them to have even a drop, no matter how very sweet it tasted!!
Oh yes - and the overt commercialization of today's cartoon industry has reached new heights - it's beyond disgusting and young kids don't yet have the discernment to reject the bombardment of commercial messages both from the ads AND in the cartoons themselves!!
Forget it , there's nothing here for you unless you're a bored adult....VERY bored, and also totally illiterate. If you aren't illiterate - you'd be much better entertained by reading a good book!
