Sold me a health insurance policy by giving comparison & offering lower cost, against previous Max Bupa portability policy, by giving wrong information on an email, Whatsapp Chat and verbally over phone calls. Was told that no deductions will happen if you cancel in a free look period in 15/30 days. Moment I received the policy, I found Co-Pay information was wrongly given. Immediately asked over phone to initiate cancellation for which I got written confirmation in 2 days. However got shocked when I got the refund in the next 15 days with 25% money(INR 15000) deducted as cancellation charges. That is how religare is selling policies in the market. Biggest joke is their customer supp team email says, customer first. I am wasting my time now chasing their cust service for refund. if anyone needs any proof, please write and I can share all these claims in writing. Highly unprofessional and careless company. Fleecing customers by first getting them on board by giving wrong information and then making money through cancellation fees. No action taken. Shockingly I wrote to their Ceo Anu Gulati about it but twice he refuse to respond. Shameful company did not even ask once from me to provide the proofs, which means they know they are following this practice of cheating people and so it does not matter to them at all
