This is very interesting. Till now we did exchange the small pics of the cricket stars and Wrestling stars for small gifts. This time, you can even trade the film stocks, celebrity stocks and everything related to Bollywood. I believe that the fundamentals of this exchange are as STRONG as that of BSE
Thinking of the concept, this is very innovative and interesting concept. The site is full of Stock trade jargons, and the style itself is very much like that in Dalal Street. The site has lot of moving graphics and there is hardly any space left out. This is probably to give the feeling of a stock exchange. The rules are quite simple and straight forward. You are given some BRs(Bollywood Rupees) to start your trading. All you need to do is to use that money and buy the stocks you like. Well, if you want, you can also do the technical analysis taking the archives. There is also the latest news relating to the bollywood.
There are also options, IPO's and wannabe funds. There is also covering and short selling. No, thats not it, there is also a bank which gives you a loan to trade. So, there is a possibility of a Ketan Parekh and Harshad Mehta even at this stock exchange. Now to survive in this stock exchange, you need to have a portfolio which is mix of hyped films and stars as well as some low budget stuff(Just like you do in the real stock exchange). Obviously, the prices get drastically effected on every Friday. I have observed that there is hectic activity(change in prices) on every thursday to saturday. Believe me, the evening Ajnabee released, the price of the film hit a low.
All in all, an interesting and innovative concept. But, personally speaking, I lost interest in a weeks time. I was very much upbeat to check the prices every day for a week, but, then on, I lost the interest and almost stopped visiting the site. Probably the reason is, I am not such a crazy film buff nor a vivid stock player.
I would certainly recommend this site to everyone. It would certainly be an interesting experience, but am not sure everyone will be a keen regular player.
