U might have heard a lot about dell and its great support team. But its my responsibiliyu to make you aware that the dell laptops are below par in their performance as compared to the competitors(apple hp etc).
I puchased a dell studia a month back and the motherboard for which was faulty I had to run from pillar to post to have the guys pick my system for repair. After they took my laptop to the depot they told me that the system part is in backlog and will take 2 /3 days to be available.
These 2 /3 days became 1 month and still my laptop was not repaired. Worst of all the call centre guys of dell are worse than high school drop out and they will not understand a word of english and try to fool or trick u that your problems will be addressed in 1 or 2 business days and the problems u are facing are of insignificant nature. they will misinterpret the informations and tell u the same. The dell tech support is the worst support I have ever known in my life. I bet u if u buy dell ur life is screwed.
