I have always been an Royla Enfield fan all my life. But when I got my 1st bike, Bullets still used to come with a Right gear shift. After riding a Yam Rx 135 (5 Speed) for 5 yrs I finaly bought a Thunderbird last month. And let me tell u one thing, this is the best bike ever.
It has the gud old 350 cc engine which gives out 18bhp and a 5 speed gear box (which is on t left). Though many complain that the bike lacks the classic thump of the old bullets, I feel the thunderbird has its own distinct thump and for people who need the gud old thump, they can always put the electra silencer. one thing I felt was that the bike could have come with gas filled shocks and electric starter cause the price I fell was overpriced. I paid 86 K for it.
But anyway this is one of the best bikes around, though the 500cc is there still that has the old cast iron engine, rt gear shift and maintanenace is a pian
