Hi Friends,

Looking for some advice from all you bullet freaks out there. Wanna buy a bullet, mainly for weekend rides and accassional highway jaunts around delhi.

Trouble is, though I have my heart set on the T'bird and the machismo, I am a bit apprehensive given all the negative reports one sees on maintaining a bullet. As u can see, I would be a first time bulleteer:).

Plus, is it better to buy a ''Quasi bullet'' like the T'bird or should I go for the real thing and plonk for the Machismo.

I really don't care much for the fuel efficiency. I just want a bike that will be fun to ride and is reliable.

I have taken a test ride of both and the T'bird seems quite comfy to ride and the disc brakes are awesome in their stopping power. But the sound of the bird is a disappointment, which is present in dollops in the machismo. plus, IMHO, the machismo has more character thant the bird.

so any advice/pointers/help would be really appreciated.

Cheers

Himanshu
