I was one of those who was gungho about BSNL being so good, and that they were actually gearing up to competition, the new chief of Chennai BSNL is on a publicity spree, and I bet his intentions are fine, but it doesn't show in practice to the end user. There have been quite a few issues I have had with them, let me tell you about the netone scheme that BSNL has.
I was very happy to hear about the 10p per minute net access share and 10 min pulse rate after 1030 to 630 in the morning. I thought this would get down my bills drastically and I started browsing after 1030 everyday.
What do I get in the process? My bi-monthly bill prior to this was around 1800 Rs and after I did this, my bill shot up to 3600 Rs odd, then the bigger bomb was for the next month they send me a bill for one month, for 2200 Rs, I was furious and I lodged a complaint, and what happens? No response, no one is bothered.
So please stay off BSNL. I was the one who thought they were good, but alas I repent my decision.
