Mostly Doesn't Book. Review on Bookmyshow

This is the official app for bookmyshow.com on mobile devices available on IOS, Windows phone, Android.

Concept: This conceptof the app is simple you just have to enter your region and language and the app will take you straight to it's homepage, from where you can book online tickets for local events or movies or plays etc. I would say that the concept of the app is quite nice, effective and fulfilling.

Layout and design: The layout and design of the app is full of animations and glitters due which it lags and flickers a lot of time. If you have a device with low processing power or slow internet connection then surely you are gonna suffer while using this app, even though you will like the concept but the app will demand good internet connection and somewhat high processing power, if you want to love the layout nad design.

Features and finctions: In features and functions the app has got everything for what it was made to do and that is booking tickets for diffrents events and shows in your region. Though you can't cancel you booking once booked which I think is a must needed option, because sometimes the plans are dropped off at last moment. So not having the refund policy and booking cancelation is a led down.

One more thing that happens in the app is that when you are booking tickets and you have selected the seats and somehow you cancel it in middle or gets cancelled by the server, next time when you retry to book the seats that you have previously selected will remain occupied even though no one has booked it. It takes around 10 - 15 min to refresh that which is pretty slow and is a big problem for me and many others when you are a last moment seat bookie.

Usefulness: Usefulness of this app only depends on whether it is or not able to book tickets and from my experience it's efficiency is < 50%. Yes most of the payments are rejected by the bookmyshow server and in 1 case my payment was deducted from bank account but no tickets were booked. So the app fails in the department which is most needed.

I would recommend using bookmyshow.com on your PC, If you have a low processing power phone and an average connection. Be Cautious while paying to bookmyshow, from my experience there payment portal is not to be trusted blindly.
