Though the rates on forex offered by BookMyForex.com are equivalent to the same offered by forex dealers face to face, I found BookMyForex to be extremely inconvenient compared to walk-in option:
The only documents required for purchasing small amount of forex(ex. USD 500) are air ticket and visa plus your ID proof & PAN. But BookMyForex kept asking for 10 different irrelevant documents which are not required at all.
The BookMyForex delivery was not using GPS and could not locate my office. I had to drive more than 3km to meet him at some random point and pickup the forex from him.
Next time I will just buy forex from forex dealer premises!
