Its almost more than a month when I saw the movie Blue on colors channel. Before watching I was very excited and since I didn't have the time to watch it in the hall I was happy to see it on TV and bear the ads as well.However, what I felt right from the start was that the director was trying to mix so many Hollywood movies in a single Bollywood movie.
The plot never exists in the film. The heroes are always having fun on big yachts, with Lara Dutta dancing in a bikini. There are bike chases, there are water scooters, yachts, boats all thrown in. If it was on water then why not stick to boats only. I don't understand why someone puts in 100 crore Rupees to make such kind of movie. The only good thing was the cinematography but then you can see better cinematography or locales on Discovery or National Geographic.
The bike chases were so amateurish that you could see that the bikers chasing Zayed Khan are very close but even then they can't shoot him. Also you can't drive superbikes in dirt tracks at 100mph. That adrenaline pumping drive is not there.It was all a lame duck affair. May be the director might want to take some lessons from Wachowsky brothers or watching The Fast and the Furious series to come up with the next action movie.
