Dear Grofers Team,


Today I want to highlight the Pathetic Service of Grofers Bangalore. This “Quality of service” I will have to make public in all the available online portals so that, general public will be very careful while making purchasing @ Unprofessional Grofers.


On 8th Oct 2020, I had placed an order vide Order no. 164717947 for 3 items. And today on 9th Oct 2020, 1 bag containing the item was delivered at around 11am. On opening the bag, I could see only 1 item which was billed for 1 item. This made me to contact the Customer Chat Service in the Mobile App and complained about the missing items. The worst part was, after chatting for 20 odd minutes, the untrained Chat Executive declared that, all the ordered items have been delivered to me and even sent me a photograph of 1 sealed bag showing that, items have been delivered to me and hence no refund or re-delivering can not be initiated. When I questioned him that, whether only 1 item has been billed against the 3 items delivered as claimed by Grofers? To this, this untrained Executive replied again that, I have to refer the photo which he had sent to me and disconnected.


I did not leave at this stage and continued to chat with another Executive who took another ten minutes after going thru the bill which I had sent and declared that, a refund of Rs. 75/- will be made to my bank account which will reflect in 7-8 working days.


When the first executive without going thru the bill(for 1 item) was chatting and was adamant and declared that, there are no missing items and no refund can be made. He was mentioning that, after investigating with the delivery team, he was so sure that, these items were delivered to me! What nonsense investigation was made by this team is really not know. When the bill is made for 1 item, how blindly one can make a packing of 3 items. This clearly shows that, no investigation was made and this untrained chat executive forwarded me a ready template which he sends regularly to the customers!


It is evident from this incident that, the Grofers is not a Professional Ecom website and runs with full of untrained employees. And with this kind of service, the customer are fooled nicely and taken for a ride. Not only this, one has to waste hours of time with this unprofessional team by way of chatting where no one get resolution.
