One of the most riveting movies of our times, it seduces u to stay upright in a theater with the going ons on the screen, the built up of the reality , the confessions at the police stations, the trauma of the blast victims, the helplessness of the families of those involved ...**ANURAG KASHYAP PLS STAND UP AND TAKE A BOW....ITS AN OSCAR MATERIAL **...I was stunned the very first time I saw it on screen some 3 years back and still after watching it for 5 times now again with the audience , , it is a class apart alright.
&; The cast is not not only capable of pulling of the extraordinary , , but to a point impeccable , , with **KAY KAY MENON as RAKESH MARIA.., PAWAN MALHOTRA as TIGER MEMON , ADITYA SHRIVASTAV as BADSHAAH KHAN , and also VIJAY MAURYA as dreaded DAWOOD** ., though his screen time is lesser then the others.but his frames and smoking rings are surely sending chills down your spine.., , the rest of the cast are as real life can be, , just the people u meet right at the nook and cranny of our city., the chase sequences , the torture , ARE ALL FOR REAL..SO MUCH THAT THE RED FILTERS REALLY CALM YOU IN THE MIND.The blast scenes and planning scenes are haunting and disturbing .
Technically it is a super product. cinematography by N natraja Subhramanyam, is hauntingly real and u feel the movie rather then just see it on screen, , Editing by ARTI BAJAJ could had been crisper.but does nt take anything away from the movie , MUSIC is capable of touching u SPECIALLY ARRE RUK JA RE BANDHE...by INDIAN OCEAN. Special FX of the blast scenes are worth watching again and again
