Founded by 1488 by rao Bikaji ,Bikaner was once on the ancient route of caravans lying in the north of desert state of rajasthan the city is dotted with many forts ,palaces and temples all creted with unusual delicacy in red sand stone ,which bear testimony to its historical and architectural legacy!!
