Going to market regularly is painful and so thought of ordering from from Big Basket online. First I saw a offer that if I pay through ICICI card then I would get 25% and I got too excited will to waster my time many times trying to get the promised discount in vain. Since it was monsoon, even though I was hating the patheric experience, I still went ahead and odered 42 items from the site. It promised to deliver within 2 days but those days came and went without any delivery. Then we were promised that it would come in 2 days. These came but we were informed that one item couldn't be delivered but they didn't deduct the price of the item. Since then I have followed up and got no response from them. Seems cheating is a business vertical for Big basket! The fruits and vegetables delivered was substandard and we really hated that we have fallen for this online scam! Im deleting my account from the site and Im sure such an unethical business will get folded soon. Please deal with then only if you are willing to get cheated.
