Never again. Review on Big Bazaar, Mumbai

I had visited Big Bazzar Gurgaon (near New Delhi) once out of sheer curiosity and promised myself never to visit again.

I needn't elaborate further, as majority of the reviews here on Big Bazaar will tell you why. I am sure any person with any self respect and a sense of dignity will never visit Big Bazzar again. Its sasta but not aacha...how can cheap be good ? Remember, sasta roye baar baar.....

There are many smaller supermarkets in India which are much better then Big Bazzar. I generally go to a small supermarket called Store 18 in NOIDA, and here, even though there are not many schemes and cheap products, the shopping experience is really great.

I am sure I would be compelled to write something positive when Walmart or Carrefour enters Indian retailing. These places are run so professionally that things move like clockwork.

Its time for Big Bazzar / Pantaloon to wake up and get their act together. Else the crowds they see today will not last long....
