Benq M100
Benq M100, is definitely a value for money mobile. The Cell costing around Rs. 3500, gives you colour display of 65K. And, moreover the interface between user and the machine is very friendly. Not only this adding to it beauty is the elegant styling. Its jelly bean modeling with no sharp edges makes it easily slide into ones pocket.
Technical Specifications:
Display 65K
Ringtones Mono NSM
Predictive Text Input
Games – Box World, Mini Mouse and Cherry Boy
Calendar
Battery Back up – 4days if there is full signal
I would suggest this set for a person who wishes to use the set in a straightforward manner ie, just use it for phone calls. However if he/she wish to customize it by changing the wallpapers or Ring tones, it is merely impossible. The set has a certain set of Wallpapers and Ringtones out of which only a few are attractive. I tried to download some wallpapers on to the mobile but in vain.
It was better if the company had circulated the Software and the data cable along with the set. The software for the set in not available in the market that means you cannot upload wallpapers from the PC.
What makes it unattractive is that it does not have Java and GPRS. With the onset of GPRS revolution this feature has become a must for every cellphone.
I am pretty much satisfied with the customer care services. I recently happened to damage the display of the set by striking it against the door while traveling, the customer care center replaced the display as soon as I took the it to them.
