I was a staunch user of BSNL broadband and used it for over 3 years. One fine day due to heavy monsoon, the underground cables got screwed and it stopped working. Then moved to airtel used for 9 months. Service was good but price is on the higher side, that is when I decided to go for Beam.
Took the B-Max850 1Mbps package, paid 6 months in advance and got a discount of 425 with free installation. The circuit breaker limit is 40 GB/month (which is way too much for me) and beyond that speed drops to 512 Kpbs. I have been using it since last 5 months and no problem till date. Measured the speed and constantly hovers at 1 Mbps. Had 3 breakdowns in the last 5 months, but lasted only couple of hours.
I can live with that. The customer service is prompt but problem is getting to them. The lines are busy and need to try at-least 3 or 4 times t reach them. Apart from that I don't have any other complaints and recommend it to all.
