Bata : The Trusted Name for Years. Review on Bata Footwear

Bata shoes are the shoes that makes me nostalgic. During my child hood when ever we had to buy school shoes we used to visit the showroom and return with a pair of black shoes. My father used to buy the ambassador model. I have seen my father, mom and my elder brother wearing Bata product until recently. Now I prefer to buy only Bata shoes for my school going kids.

Over the years the brand loyalty and the quality of the product’s have eroded. It’s product has lost the creditability it ones enjoyed due to it’s product’s durability- a non nonsense shoes. It has also failed to bring out eye catching products and it has never been able to make a style statement though it was never it’s forte. The products were always known for its reliability but of late it is on decline.

Of late they have been trying to recapture lost ground but unless they come out with foot were  making fashion statement it will be tough.

I would prefer to buy a pure leather shoes from Bata for my office as it can bear more wear and tear and buy local shoes for party were.
