Barney... oh god. The only made up character I really dislike. He gets on my nerves... dancing and prancing and singing, he's so perky I'd like to drive a nail through his head!
Bear in the Big Blue House on the other hand is just the coolest show for toddlers. My oldest baby girl just loves it. We watch it every morning, and now my youngest baby girl is starting to realize the sound of the characters on this show, and she is starting to become interested also.
They sing and dance on this show also, but they really teach the entire show.
Another cute show is called Rollie Pollie Ollie, it is all computer graphics...very cute. Bear in the Big Blue House and Rollie Pollie Ollie both can be found on the Disney channel.
