Here is a big jolt to the expensive scooters in the market - Honda / Kinetic /TVS. With the on-road price of 36,000 (Bhopal), this is a perfect buy for scooter lovers. The 110 cc, 8 bhp power really makes ''Wave'' the scooter of 2005. The trendy design with a large storage space is apt for city driving.
Though I have not seen enough ''Waves'' on the road but I am sure the trend is going to pick-up.
TVS Pep with a 75 cc engine and priced almost similar does not seem to be a good buy and why the hell are Honda selling their 100 cc scooters for 41,000 (Bhopal) is unfathomable.
My wife had been driving the ''Wave'' everyday and she has stopped driving a car.
I just hope, I get the best service from Bajaj and it does not have any huge maintenance cost
