Thanks to the torquey motor, this is an effortless motorcycle to pilot in slow speed traffic, with only a light twist-of-the-wrist enough to have you trot off from rest. That and the light clutch on the V’s smooth-shifting five-speed gearbox makes it an easy bike to punt around. The V’s all-up gearshift pattern, may not be to everyone’s liking, especially given the more universal 1-down, rest-up pattern.
