Lots of reviews on pulsar . proves one thing ----its hugely popular .
After my previous 17 year old (my previous bajaj bike kb 100 ) got stolen by some bajaj fan , I was forced to look around for a new vehicle . Being an avid biker I found a car too boring.
So off I was into mouthshut researching .And in the end I decided on pulsar 150 dtsi. pulsar 180 is a fuel guzzler in the city . And I could not wait for a month for it so I choose 150 dtsi .
Beauty is it only skin deep ----you want to marry aiswarya or the girl next door given a choice . This one is a beauty no doubt with the stylish headlights . angled exhaust ,massive petrol tank . weighted handlebars . unicorn its competitor everyone admits is less glamorous in looks
power : 13.3 bhp for a weight of 140 kg(electric start ) is a good power to weight ratio compared to most of the competition .dont compare it with a racing bike though . it just roars to 60 kmph in around 5 secs + . with twin sparks , exhaustec ---- mileage is ok inspite of the excellent perfomance
stopping power : disk brakes are standard . very good . and the bike is stable while stopping .
mileage : a very decent mileage of 50+ in city inspite of power
electric start, tripmeter, sidestand indicator, tachometer ---all the goodies for a power bike are there
parts are comparatively cheaper than honda .
only con---is the gears can be a little less smooth but nothing is perfect in this world .
So my new pal----i recommend to everyone who is looking for a stylish ,powerful bike .
