I purchased new Bajaj Pulsar DTSi with self start and mag wheels approximately two months back during mid Jul-05. From my Views: Engine:- Absolutely smooth in running, noise free and easy to start. This bike simply flies while driving at the speed of around 60. Pick up is fine enough to overtake others (depends on speed of others). Due to Exhaust TEC, there is no need for frquent gear changes as in old pusar 150. Low end torque is excellent and this bike can be driven at the speed of 20 KMPH in 5th gear. It is really a style bike and not meant only for youngsters and can be driven by men also (I am 48 now). Basic thing required is previous experience of driving bikes. Braking is fine. Fuel efficiency is between 52 to 60 KMPL. Road grip is fantastic. My wish is to have a bit high handle bar to sit erect for long travel. Beginners should not buy this bike because initial move needs some driving experience. Negative: Head light can be 60W instead of 35W. Handle bar height should be raised little bit. Conclusion: It is a substitute for Bullet and causes others to envy.

I have driven this bike for 23000 Kms. Still this bike is as fine as it was duing the age of 2500 KMs.

I did not face any major defect so far.
