I bought this bike in 2007, the flame red self start version a pure 125 dtsi engine... I still have it and its done 69, 572 on the odo.

I love this bike like anything as its never ever dissapointed me in any way..... I regularly service my bike every 1750 kms and change the oil every 4000kms , as I use synthetic oil of Motul which costs 750 Rs/litre.At a stretch I have ridden the bike for 542khs...frm Mumbai 2 Goa, with 3 halts, Chiplun, Ratnagiri and Madgaon.

I rode this bike at a constant speed of 65-70km/h.. I always mix a 2T pouch costing 7Rs to10litres of petrol.... Although a 4 Stroke it helps the engine in many ways....in addition to it keeps the inside of the petrol tank rust free.....

In monsoons I get the spark plug caps greased as they dont get moisture or else they short.. The mileage it gave me the first 4 months was 67kmpl. After regular use and with a daily travelling of 52 kms from office to home now its giving me around 57kmpl.

Im very happy with the services also, I did the free services in a Bajaj Auth service centre then onwards doing it from a proffessional local mechanic... I would never trade this bike for any other brand....

I bought this bikeafter a thorogh market research..... all the mechanics gave me only 2 options in the end lukin at my usage and daily travel needs.... the bike's were Hero Honda's Super Splendour and Bajaj's Discover dts-i.....Guys if u wanna go for any new bike, go for the one's ive suggested above..... really good and no-nonsense bikes.....
