I'm also one of the Bajaj Customer in before that i'd Hero Honda Spl. 1999 model. I finished riding around 145000 km in 5yrs. no problem occurred. in 2004 Engine got prob. so that I sold the bike & I bought Discover DTS I in Jan'2005. From Starting itself I faced Tyre Wobbling - I spend around 500 rs(inclusive of petrol & repair chrgs in Bajaj Service Centre & Tyre Company). If any prob. ''Sir a Sound from when I start the engine using of Electric '' said to the Service Centre simply the people said ''IT's like that only'' Every question the service people said the same answer.
Finally I went to the Company then only they r doing well. From 900 km the tyre wobbling started 9500km only service centre people found there was a problem in Bearing cut that too the company people said to Change the Bearing'' otherwise i'm always @ back of the Service People. TOO Much. There is no Cooperation between Showroom & Service centre people. Bajaj Company will take necessary action if READ this Review. Now my vehicle touch 14560 km The Chain- Sprocket get cut. nearing 1yr & km is just 14560km. I asked the people they said u have change the Chain sprocket immediately. I don't know y only this and all happening. Hero Honda 1000 times better in my experience.
