This is my first review. I m writing this review when I have driven my avenger for 30000kms.
The bike is good in comfort and looks and satisfies one's ego. Pickup is also good but don't compare with pulsar. Although engine has a little vibration right from the beginning, yet it was good to have a bike like this. It needs a lot of care to maintain a bike like this. The bike is very good but it hurts when u get poor service from bajaj probiking. Probiking people don't give attention to the problems. And even if u tell them that this is the problem, don't expect they will be able to repair that. I am very much hurt by their attitude. They just have 2 service stations in whole Delhi area, which adds to longer waiting period for service.
Now, the situation is like this, I have got it serviced twice in last two months frm bajaj probiking karol bagh, and they are unable to repair the gear lever. I cant come to neutral when bike is at low speed or at rest. Engine is making noise and they call it the timing chain problem. I asked them to straighten the handle bar, they put the new handle and it is still at an angle. I am very much frustrated by their service and planning to sell my much beloved bike.
On the manufacturer;s part the bike has following problems:
Meter wire is short (that's why you will see many avengers running without meters/or with repaired one)
The bike skids while braking.
