I was dragged by my wife to see the first day, last show of "Baabul". We even got the tickets the very same afternoon. I watched it at City Pride, Pune. It was a 10:45 PM show.
I have neer seen such a HORRIBLE movie spending such an amount of money and time. How can someone even make such a movie? And how can actors of the stature of AB Sr, Hema Malini, and Rani even sign for such a pathetic movie. It is a pathetic movie and even if someone is paying you to watch it, don't even think of going. Even if it s the last day of your life and this is the last movie on earth.
There was hardly any story. Though the subject is socially relevant but it looks like a story of the late 70s / early 80s.
Hema looks gorgeous only until she opens her mouth to deliver a dialog's. Salman is attroshious as ever. AB Sr too is just about average. I did not know that Rani can do such a bad job too. John still needs to learn something called acting. Looks will not save him everytime. Rajpal Yadav was better than most others.
The crowd was hooted and whistled throughout the movie. Many simply walked out. I wish I had not seen this movie.
