Axis bank is one of the leading bank in India but the customer service is not satisfactory and they charge for unnecessary phone banking services. I had a salary account and savings account with Axis bank. I was offered titanium card with Axis bank. without any intimation they deduct charges for phone banking value added services and there is no proper response from the customer service team. My account was freezed eventhough I maintained a balance of rs 12000 every month. The hardest part was no intimation/communication from them regarding credit freeze of my account was given to me. I submitted my Id and address prof to unfreeze it again for my usage. The process took a lot of time and I have written mails to them regarding my account. Even though phone banking, internet banking facility and ATM is available they dont give internet banking password in the kit available for opening an account. We have to register first and the process takes delay. I would not recommend axis bank as most of the banks are now offering zero account savings balance and we can apply for savings account online with all other premium banks.
