We purchased a Maruti Alto from Automartindia's Andheri (Mumbai) Showroom in November 2004 and got a Comprehensive Warranty .
The experience is a horror story.
They took over 2 months to transfer the papers and that too with errors in name. When we pointed it, the Asst Manager said it is minor thing and will not be a problem.
Next is the FREE service. They offer 3 free service. After first one, I did not bother to try the second one. Reason .... no washing, no interior cleaning, no greasing of door hinges ... not sure what they do in servicing !
Recently, the power door lock had a problem because the motor failed.
On taking to their service center, I was told that this is not covered. The reasons mentioned include 1) Electrical components not covered 2) Accessories not covered and a variety of others.
None of these are mentioned ANYWHERE in the warranty documents.

Added --- Automart called me after reading this review and assured me that the error in transfer papers will be corrected and they would call me in about a week. This was in early August, 2005. It is now ened of the year 2005 and I am still waiting to hear from them..... BEWARE
