Although I sincerely enjoyed the first Austin Powers movie, I wish they had stopped there. The second one was okay, but everyone should know their limits; the second one should have been the last one. This trilogy reminds me of watching a friend at a bar get really drunk. At first, the silliness is funny, and the person still has something to add to the conversation. Then, the childishness begins to wear thin, and you're trying to talk them out of that ''one more'' drink. And finally, the crude and loud jokes become too much for the surrounding customers, and then the bouncer is insisting he leave. Unfortunately, the drunk usually doesn't fully understand what the problem is until far too late. Don't get me wrong, Goldmember had its moments of humor, but they didn't warrant a movie. Myers should stop while he's still ahead.
