To say that finiding a good shampoo for my hair is an understatement. I have very, VERY, thick hair. I have tried every product on the market, from the $20.00 bottle of Nexus, to the $1.00 bottle of Alberto V05. After using it for almost 10 years now, nothing comes close to my Aussie!
I first discovered Aussie Mega Shampoo when I was 16. I was in high school, and on the school swimming team. My hair was a mess from all of the chlorine, and washing. So, a friend suggested the Aussie family of products. After using the Aussie 5 minute miracle to save my hair, I began using the Mega Shampoo for daily cleaning.
The first thing I noticed about this shampoo was the scent. A clean, delighful scent that I still can remember to this day, even though it has changed quite a bit. Secondly, I loved the way it cleaned my hair. Even with my thick hair, I was able to use just a tad for luxurious lather. It cleaned my hair without leaving a build-up as some other shampoos do. And since I didn't need to use alot oat every washing, a bottle really lasted.
I'm glad that a bottle lasts for a long time, because it can get expensive. For a basic, over the counter shampoo, your paying about $5.00 per bottle. That might not seem like much, but when your 16 and not working, it is alot!
Nowdays, I still use Aussie products. Their variety of formulas for different hair types has helped me tremendously throughout the years. Now only if they would make a body wash!
