Assam Tea is widely popular all over the world and I do own a small Tea Garden. This review is to make you aware that Assam Tea uses excessive chemicals for increased production at the cost of our health and for this reason it is no longer in high demand at National and International market. When we drink Tea every morning or evening, we are actually consuming those chemicals sprayed over its leaf.
Small Tea growers like me do not have factories, we are bound to use chemicals because when we sell it to factories, we are not going to get the price of Organic leaf. We were paid the same price.
I think the Govt. of India and alongwith Assam branch of Indian Tea association ( ABITA) should take necessary measures to make Assam Tea a chemicals free and effort should be made on producing Organic Tea. And your awareness is equally important regarding the health benefits of Organic Tea.
