Aravind Eye Care System is the biggest Charity group in South India.
Medical Care(Patient Care): Good patient care services and have complete eye care facilities. they have separate department for each specialty like Cornea, Retina, Glaucoma, Pediatric eye care, Uvea, Cataract.
regarding staffing I can say well qualified and trained Doctors are providing good services. nursing staff are not much qualified but they are well trained.
adequate staff are there in OPD and IP area since hospital looks little bigger but you do not need to worry about to access concern department, because in all work station at least one staff will be designated.
but nursing staff knows only local language-Tamil, even they don't have English fluency. I can give 4 star
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure but due to high patients load it looks crowded.
maintaining hygienic environment but not so good. signage's are clearly displayed in all area, I can give 3.5 star
Staff Attitude: No words to tell negatively. all nursing staff are well trained. and Doctors are so friendly. I can give 4.5 star
Cost of Treatment: consulting fee Rs. 50 only, Surgery fee does not look too high. They are offering 2 types of medical services, 1. Paying service for those who can afford to pay. in this section they will charge consulting fee and surgery fee depends on patient's affordability.
- Free service for those who cant afford to pay. in this section they does not charge consulting fee and minimum charges for cataract Rs. 500. I can give 5 star
Optical services: all types lenses and frames available in optical shop, even they have fitting department. I can give 4 star
Other Facilities: Canteen facility avail at all time, in second floor they have small library in corridor, fist floor they have medical hall, Parking facility. I can give 4 star
management should look into patient waiting time. if the patients referred to specialty clinic it will take too much time to meet doctors
overall I can give 4 star
