It seems aniPod cover is a must-have accessory since the iPod scratches so easily, and the Icewear cover is an excellent choice - but it may not suit everyone.

The Icewear iPod cover is a single piece silicon rubber "skin". With quite a bit of effort, the iPod slides into the cover through an opening at the bottom. There is a flap that is then pulled over the bottom to cover it.

With quite a bit of fiddling to align the case with the controls (something that only needs to be done once, however) there is adequate access to the dial control, screen and a very ample opening at the top. However, this cover makes no attempt to protect the screen, except perhaps for a lip around the screen opening. As a result I've found myself buying a stick on screen guard to protect the screen... as the screen seems just as suseptable to scratches as the rest of the iPod.

The silicon rubber case both looks great, but also provides the iPod with a bit of slip resistance, which is great if you're like me and often place your iPod in the glove box of your car. It doesn't slide around at all. On the downside, however, the rubber case has a tendency to attract a bit of dust.

All in all, I'm very happy with my Icewear cover. It serves its purpose well, without making the iPod bulky like some cases seem to.
