Its great to be able to go to a movie now and watch something which you can relate too. It's a regular feature today, to read of incidents such as those narrated in the movie. The movie also throws forth a realistic perspective of not just the happenings but what takes a normal honest man and throws him into the realms of crime.

The protaginist takes us through his trials and tribulations as he struggles to find a job. It shows how he realises idealism is dying and looks to find other ways of moving ahead in life. Furthmore it shows how politics today is not just about governance but also about the manner in which politicians use their unfair methods to stay ahead.

These are all things that are in the open today and it truly is great to see movies being made of themes such as these instead of pure romances with actors and actresses dancing around trees. Not too ridicule those movies but a few movies like apharan thrown in between the rest surely gives a lot more people options to watch movies more relvant to the current scenarios in life today.

Kudos to the team of Apharan for a movie well thought out and executed.
