I am writing in the favor of Amul it should not mean that Vijaya products are not good. Actually I know that Amul people employ very high quality and hygiene standards in the preparation of dairy based products.One of my batch mate is employed with Amul and he told me that Amul dairies are undoubtedly the best in India.Being a food technologist I can say that milk is a very perishable product and it is really very difficult to manage milk and other milk based products processing.
Not only this even the chances of contamination is very high as sometimes low temperature act in the favor of some microbes.Frequent cleaning procedures are required to reduce the chances of contamination. After each shift whole unit is washed through various chemicals.
Even the taste of Amul products is just great whether you try butter or dairy whitener.After all this I can say that Amul (Anand Milk Union Limited)is really spreading the taste of India across the globe.
