I have been a good customer of amazon and have given them orders for 30k till date. I was very impressed with their ads and had heard a good review from US friends about their commitment and service. But this week a had a taste of their COMMITMENT.
I placed an order(404-0640115-3661928) and it was cancelled by their team stating pricing error. Well first of all I dont expect such a large provider to have no checks for pricing when a product is entered and even if there is you just dont go and cancel the order.
Would you have cancelled the order if it was Amazon US? Answer is No, its a shame to service and shame to name of Amazon US what the team in India has done. Best part is it was AMAZON FULFILLED. Whats the use of certification? its not an error from the seller it got certified for delivery by Amazon
Why a customer will trust you going forward as you can always cancel the order? There will be no difference between a deal and pricing error. Who knows if it was just a trick to pull the traffic as you are finding it hard to compete against flipkart and snapdeal.
I have been a regular online shopper(a flipkart first customer and platinum member of other online sites) and have purchased a few deals which may be termed as pricing error by Amazon but every site has done the needful and commited to an order once placed. So guys I would only suggest tht prefer indian sites to amazon because Indians knows the meaning of word COMMITMENT.
