Some merchants on Amazon india have no honor. Recently, I bought a TV for an advertised price for next day delivery. The merchant marked shipment picked by DTDC COURIER, with a tracking number on Amazon platform.
However, the product was never shipped and when I tried to track that item on DTDC it turns out that it’s a fake tracking number. I contacted Amazon about the item not being shipped and such a fake tracking number. After some research on Amazon, it turns out that the merchant raised price of that item by 2x.
Now Amazon says they will refund me because there is a problem with shipment. This is not the first time it happened to me. Customers simply won’t realize the scam by merchants and Amazon being sided by their merchants and NEVER SUPPORT customers and force the merchant to honor their price commitment.
It’s all big damn scam by Amazon and some merchants like CRD Electronics on the Amazon platform.
Try to avoid buying from these scammers and support your local merchants. At least, you do not have to wait to see if your item will be delivered or not.
