In the name of replacement they are cheating the customer. I received my product hp laptop on 7 th October and this product was defective , it looks like repaired products are being sold by Amazon.
Battery was loose and it was making very ugly sound from hinges and battery .when I noticed this I tried for replacement of this proud.
But during this process after 3 steps ( screenshot, I have given in the pic) , it stucked there it was not going ahead of this point, the contact no given there was oh HP customer support.then I was started dealing with HP people.I followed the instructions they asked me to do.I sent video and snapshots of the defective part.they took 3-4 days to accept my complaint. Three days later someone from hp came to check my product and he agreed that this product was defective.After talking from hp office that guy asked me to take this laptop to hp service center.
IF THEY PROVIDE ONSITE SERVICE, THEN WHY SHOULD I GO FOR REPAIRING OF MY NEW LAPTOP TO SERVICE CENTER.
I TOLD THEM THAT I M NOT READY TO ACCEPT REPAIRING OF THE PRODUCT WHICH I BOUGHT FORTNIGHT AGO, PLEASE PROVIDE REPLACEMENT.
AFTER DEALING A WEEK WITH HP , THEY TOLD ME TO TALK TO AMAZON, ONLY THEY CAN REPLACE IT.
AGAIN I CALLED AMAZON CUSTOMER CARE, AND EXPLAINED THEM WHOLE SCENARIO.
NOW AMAZON CUSTOMER CARE TOLD ME THAT WE ONLY PROVIDE REPLACEMENT FOR10 DAYS, and they told me that my replacement window has expired.
I COULDN'T BELIEVE THIS, WHEN I WENT THROUGH THE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE OF AMAZON THEY FORWARDED ME TO HP CUSTOMER CARE AND IT TOOK 5-6 DAYS by HP AFTER MAKING MY COMPLAINT.
WHEN HP PEOPLE TOLD ME TO TALK WITH AMAZON FOR REPLACEMENT. AND AMAZON SIMPLY DENIED TO REPLACE MY LAPTOP, SAYING THAT REPLACEMENT WINDOW HAS EXPIRED.
IT WAS TERRIBLE , FIRST THEY FORWARDED ME TO HP.DURING. THIS PERIOD MY TIME SPAN OF 10 DAYS PASSED .
I SIMPLY ASKED THEM WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT, I WAS FORWARDED TO HP BY AMAZON WEBSITE ONLY, DUE TO THIS REASON THE 10 DAYS TIME WAS PASSED.
TILL NOW MY PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN REPARED
I WAS NOT EXPECTING IT FROM AMAZON BUT THEY PROVED ME WRONG.
AFTER 2 YEARS OF STRUGGLE, AND COMPROMISING MY MANY BASIC NEEDS I HAD COLLECTED 25000 TO BUY THIS LAPTOP.
AND THEY SOLD ME A DEFECTED LAPTOP.
I FIND MYSELF CRUSHED BETWEEN THE MISLEADING RULE REGULATIONS OF TWO BIG GIANTS SAY AMAZON AND HP.
I can only do now is, IN FUTURE I WILL NEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM AMAZON AND I WILL TRY MY BEST TO STOP other PEOPLE BUYING ANY PRODUCT FROM AMAZON.
THEY MADE ME FOOL, I HAVE CHEATED BY AMAZON .TERRIBLE.!
