For 2 years I was into online shopping that I bought items like laser printer, laptop, mobile phone all online. Initially I was happy that I am able to get quality products just sitting at my house.
I stopped the online shopping for last 6 months and may not do it again unless I am forced to.
a) I saw a definite lowering of quality in amazon experience. I had to return items, get exchange or accept even if I am not happy, wait for 2 months and then get a refund saying order could not be met. In some case I realized amazon does not pick up for return, since it is from third party - I had to just keep one item because I did not have time to go to courier etc to return.
b) With flipkart where I bought a motorola phone, I had worst experience. I had to run around to prove I got a bad hardware phone and get exchange.
I have now decided and recommend others - if you want peace of mind, avoid online shopping.
